The Porta-Welder facilitates the welding process for manufacturing pipes and small tanks. As an evolved member of the manipulator family, the Porta-Welder is a self-contained welding station. Both the manipulator and the power supply are housed on a small mobile platform that a single operator can easily push to the correct location. The castor wheels and telescoping boom enhance the maneuverability and ease of positioning the welding head. Traditionally, the pipe and weld joint need to be brought to the stationary welder. However, now the Porta-Welder eliminates this need and allows the welder to be brought to the weld joint. The telescoping boom allows for a small footprint when the machine is not in use and a series of forklift pockets located below the base allow for easy transport throughout the customer’s facility.
The Porta-Welder can be outfitted with either a SAW or MIG welder and also dressed with a number of different accessories and options to suit your specific welding needs. If you would like more information about the
